The Dragon has gone...

At work today I came across the sad news of Robert Jordan's passing via Yahoo news.

I haven't finished his series as of yet, in fact I have been enthralled by the writings of George R. R. Martin to the point where I simply can not put the book down, but this news of the Dragon has made heavy my heart.

I never met RJ, but I will miss him. To me, he was much like Steve Irwin, a man gone long before what many would consider his time.

I will leave this blog with the words I left RJ on his official blog: "Goodbye Dragon. May we one day meet and tell each other tales. You were an inspiration to me."
